Birthday Party

Will and Maddy had a joint birthday party again this year.  They asked to have their party together and since they go to the same preschool have most of the same friends.  The theme was Knights and Princess.

We rented a room at the Leisure Centre which worked well, lots of room for kids to run and play.  We played games:
-Freeze dance
-Jousting (hitting stuffed animals off chairs with pool noodle swords)
-Horse Races
-Archery
-Princess, Knight, Dragon (duck, duck, goose)
-What time is it Mr. Wolf

We ate cake. There was lots of cake left! That what happens when you have two birthdays at the same time and they ask for cool cakes.

We opened presents.

And played more!

I think everyone had a great time. I know Will and Madelyn did!

I am not going to post a bunch of pictures of the party as I am not sure all the parents would appreciate having pictures of children posted.

Happy 3rd Birthday Madelyn

Madelyn turned 3 today! Sometimes it is hard to believe she is three already and other times hard to believe she is not older! I have to say this year was a tonne of fun to watch her expressions as she opened gifts, we sang happy birthday etc.  She really understands what birthdays are about and told me tonight before bed she wants another birthday tomorrow!

Happy 5th Birthday William!

Hard to believe our little man is a full handful today!

We enjoyed the day playing monopoly, eating pancakes and sausage for lunch, going to skating, McDonalds for supper follow by Minion cake!  What a great day for a five year old!

That last candle was tricky so he spit on it to get it to go out, when we said maybe don't do that in the future he said well I used water to put out the fire. Oh dear Mr. firefighter.
