Seems like every weekend we have a lot planned, i guess that is part of the joys of living in Saskatchewan and only having about 10 weekends in the summer.
This weekend was filled with an exciting yard job and a visit from some friends in Saskatoon. I have to say I have not been very diligent about taking pictures lately so I have a few pictures from the weekend, but not nearly enough.
Let's start with the yard. Since we moved in here we have wanted to spruce up the front yard. There is a big pine tree that for obvious reasons the grass does not grow under, just a few weeds and we had a few fern like trees at the front of the house that were starting to take over the house, to the point where it was hard to open up the windows in the kids room. So we chopped those shrubs down, bricked the flower bed and around the tree and the border between the rocks (where Chris parks truck) and the grass. Now I just need to decide on what type of shrubs to plant in the front.

We also had friends come and visit Saturday/Sunday. The kids had a great time playing and the adults enjoyed an evening outside by the campfire once the little ones were sleeping. Again I did not take too many pictures, just a few at the park when we went for a picnic.
